Sunflower which has a behavior that mengahadap heliotropisme or flower toward the sun. The origin of this plant has been cultivated by the Indians of North America thousands of years ago. Further spread to South America and became one source of food for the citizens of Inka. After the conquest by the Europeans, sunflower was introduced to Europe and various other corners of the world in the 16th century. Since the 17th century the seeds are used in a mixture of bread or treated as a substitute for coffee and chocolate. Its use as a source of oil started pioneered in the 19th century and in 1919, planting in Java. And made the sunflower as a symbol of national interest and the PRC official state flower of Kansas, USA.
